Okay, here's the fix for those who like how the drivers run. Even reinstalling them didn't correct the fan control. It was still not ramping up as it should. The way to fix it is to run regedit and delete all instances of RmThermalProviderInfo and RmThermalProviderNum entries in the registry. Then reboot. Check your fan control and it should be exactly the same as for previous drivers.
